The first thing to sort out is a domain name for your website. If you don't already own one, we'll purchase it for you! Domain names are usually purchased on an annual basis, so you need to re-purchase them year on year. Choosing one of our hosting packages will ensure this is done each year as paying for your yearly hosting will include domain re-purchasing**. If you already have a domain name, no problem!
We start off by creating a design for a site based on any ideas the client may already have. We then liase with the client on a regular basis as designs are amended & finalised. Then we get to work breaking the design down to work as efficient CSS and clean xHTML code for the web. After completing a website we validate all code by running it through the w3c xHTML & CSS validators. We will also endeavour to design your site with accessibility in mind following w3c Guidelines in accordance with the disability discrimination act. Once everything is finalised we make the website live and submit it to search engines such as Google & Yahoo.
There are some features we build into websites as standard. This means if you require them, it isn't going to bump up the costs. These features include 1 contact/enquiry form, 1 flash banner & a sitemap. If your website is hosted by us you get the following additional features: a website statistics page only accessible by you, your own website control panel & webmail and your own FTP login details.
